Mind Over Matter

The best part about being a mother is...
being a grandmother!!!
So many new gadgets for kids-- We went looking for a "little red wagon" and found this green two seater, with seatbelts and door!!

So I told myself, it's just a day-- just another 24 hours to live through--- just breathe, play with Austin,, and don't think--- don't think about it being Mother's Day---- it's not working!!!

I'm a few hours after your post... so the day is almost running out... I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose a child... I know I am crushed when friends move away, which is nothing in comparison...

I just want to wish you well either way, I haven't had a chance to chat with you since I was home, but know that I appreciate and care about how you're doing a lot!

Hope you got the chance to talk to Mike, Phil and Jenna today. Take care, G.

Hi G-- nice to hear from you!! For some reason, this was a hard one-- I'm really missing Mike too, it's been three years--- and two grandchildren!!! I always ache for Chris,, but this year it seemed to be more about the absence of Michael-- go figure!!! But Mike phoned, and Jason and Jeremy came by with cards--- they're great!! I know I am blessed with so many wonderful people in my life,, you, being one!!!

Happy Ma's day darling Nan, though I don't really believe in Ma's day and Pa's day etc... they're just too commercial and limiting. But... then again, sending youlots of love anyway :-).

I didn't hear a word from my kids on Mother's Day..I never do. When they were growing up, we never celebrated it. But, when I knew Mother's Day was approaching, I was thinking..I'll have to call Mom...and then I remembered. I don't have a Mom to call.
So, for Mother's Day, we bought ourselves a new TV..read my blog.
Lots of love Sue...thinking of you always.
