getting together
This was an unusual Remembrance Day-- Ususally the weather on Nov.11 is dreary, bleak, and overcast, ---much like the mood of the day--- but this year the sun was out, skies were blue, and Jason and his family stopped by!!
We walked the 2.5 km nature trail which borders Riverside Cemetery--- so we stopped by to include Chris. Even after three years, it's still a gut-wrenching!
We really enjoyed the afternoon--- except the stroller we started off with--- broke down----- and the "weakest link" ended up on my shoulders ---He (Austin) said his legs were broken!
Funny how they got fixed in a hurry when he saw the playground!!! and I turned into the weakest link!

Glad you had a nice day, with the grand children.Isn't it funny how children, seem to heal so quickly, form broken legs.hehehehehehe
The wonderful weather must have meant that the spirits of your loved ones were smiling down at you. Thanks for sharing your day, Nan. =)
Funny to think that my Autumn is long since passed... My outdoor frolics now require snow pants and a down parka, neck warmer, toque, leather/sheepskin mitts and a fur rimmed hood... LOL!!
Hope I get my new digital camera soon so I can post some recent pictures!
G.
Been thinking about you and Chris alot lately. So I thought I would stop by your blog. Glad you stopped in to share it with him. Love you
