Eat Your Spinach ???
That's what we've been told all our lives by universal mama---right up there next to breast milk---even invented a cartoon , Popeye, to spout the health benefits of spinach----
SO WHAT'S THE STORY ??
What can we believe in when tainted spinach is killing us-- particularly females---- with---E-COLI !!
Do you know where e-coli originate???
IN THE INTESTINES OF CATTLE--- so how may I ask, is fecal matter ending up in our freshly washed and bagged spinach ??? Is nothing sacred anymore?

I am always curious whether it is a conspiracy when these types of reports come up... Maybe it is just the "lettuce" or "mixed greens" people who are trying to create bad press to boost their sales! LOL!!

Yuck! Oh well, I'm not a spinach eater anyway.
Vegetable crop -> fertilizer. Need I say more?
Orrr along the line of G. I think it's the pro-meat group. Don't they promote meat as helping to make you strong? So what would be the main competitor to a meat that makes you strong... A VEGETABLE that makes you strong!!! Finally, a battle worthy of our time!!! Pick sides my friends and raise your arms for battle!!! Long live the beef!!!!! Or, actually, ummm, that doesn't work, if they live too long then the meat tastes yucky... I'll have to work on that.
But it was beef from whence the e-coli originated--- so , down with beef manure fertilizer--- good God, there is nothing we can eat---
hmmm, except our own waste.... I know it sounds horrid, but I mean if it went through our system once without killing us then it shouldn't kill us the second time through? LOL... But we might have to supplement with all of the nutrients we need in the form of a multivitamin and multi-mineral....

I heard another food related story on the news tonight... Supposedly the some of the garlic croutons at Wendys have tested positive for salmonella! Truly NO FOOD is sacred anymore!

NL- Phew, so glad I didn't eat those croutons from Wendy's, to put on the caesar salad--yikes, but I did eat the spinach and the beef------
