The Look of Love ???

" I loved Jon Benet" he said

---Dear God, protect our children from this kind of "love". Makes no difference whether he did" it", it is equally abhorrant that he wishes to take "credit" , or has somehow fantasized that he actually was the perpetrator--- whatever the case may be, he bears closer examination, and should not be a travelling elementary teacher, in Thailand, where the child-sex trade thrives, so "they" say-----Give him his 15 minutes of fame, figure out what's going on in his crazed mind, and keep our children safe--- they are all our children!!

This story is despicable. When I heard the news story, and they mentionned those dreaded words, "he was a teacher", I was so mad. It's WACK-JOBS (excuse the language but it really makes me mad!) like him that make the system so cold and scrutinized. I hate to think that because of people with these inappropriate infatuations actually get teaching licenses and are given responsibility over a class of young innocent children.

I hate the way that people like this make others cast doubt on all teachers, because you know it happens. It makes me feel like I have to be cold in the classroom, just in case someone will accuse me of horrible things like that.

There is a known pedophile in my town, also the father of a few of my former students. He has been accused and is waiting to be processed by the courts. He threatens his victims and many have dropped charges, over and over again.

Today he was arrested again, he was threatening a few 20 year olds that are friends with a guy who beat up his son. He pulled his truck in front of their jeep jumped out and came at them with a crowbar... Luckily the police got there in time to arrest him before it got bad.

And I asked myself, what the heck is that? That guy is a flippin' pedophile- and he is acting as if he his an innocent citizen. Argh, at times like this, I guess I understand our need for peace in this world more than anything. Hopefully with peace will come virtue, integrity, morality and honesty... but now that I think of it maybe peace is not enough!

Hello ff,cc, and G:
Seems there is still a lot of "unfolding" to take place--- And G-- don't change the way you are one bit---- especially for sickos like him--- There's too little genuine caring as it is!

I think it is very sad that teachers and other people who are considered authority figures, can no longer relate on a one-to-one basis with their students or whatever. And I have to be worried about getting too close to my Granchildren, which really pisses me off. I used to feel real comfortable when Eric and Jamie got into the bed with me and we would laugh and laugh. Well, now of course Eric wouldn't...but Jamie still likes too...and I'm afraid to touch him. It's terrible! He's going to be 13 in August and he still likes me to rub his head. Is there anything wrong with that? I don't think so!!!!
Oh Goodness..I think I went on a rant on someone else's blog!!! (smile). Oh well, it's my sister's so I guess that's all right....isn't it???
Sorry Nannan...(not really).

I shoudl apologize too, ranting on your blog and you're not even my sister... LOL!!

I totally know what you mean Tuffysmom... I find it sad the way things are now... I understand that some adults have taken advantage of their children but it doesn't mean that everyone is that sick!

Many kids I notice are having sex younger and younger. I wonder if there is any connections (I mean I am no psychologist so I could be totally wrong) I mean maybe the young these days have had so little genuine care and affection that they crave it and look elsewhere... Just a theory, but you never know. I know lots of my students who love to be close to adults, they love to get hugs and to have you go up and put your arm around their shoulders in greeting when you see them... Some kids are really clingy too and it's probably that they just crave the positive, caring touch that they don't get anymore from parents...maybe because even some parents are scared...

Ranting again, SORRY Sue! But it's just a sad situation!
