Piano Man

Okay, enough already, I know it's not really a piano, but close enough- Now that his toys have become Alexis's, he's enjoying them much more the second time around- he thought today was Christmas, seeing all his old familar toys-Am posting so late,because, as we speak, Frank is reading Gora (Dora) to Austin, a prerequisite to putting him to bed- Today was a double duty day, Aussie's baby sitter took a vacation- HMMM- what's that?? But Frank was home to share the fun!! Sorrry if I scared people off yesterday- you were warned!!!
Did anyone else watch the Spelling Bee last night? Would put us all to shame- Gads, the words were ridiculous- the 13 year old girl who won, spelled "ursprache," a German word that means parent language and the contestant from Canada lost on the spelling of “weltschmerz,” which means sadness over the evils of the world. (could have used that yesterday!) And we were feeling so good about inadvertently !!! One of the words was "douane"- isn't that a French word?
Besides double child care duties, I had to meet with a financial advisor to discuss the impending reduction of income- depressing- and Frank took Aussie grocery shopping- that's depressing too!!! The cost of food , that is- Philip's home- but I'm not complaining----no, just stating a fact!!! The fact is, he eats like an elephant!!!!
Frank did the pooper scooping at dad's while I gave Austin a bath- He hates to get outof the tub, but thanks to a new "shark" towel, he happily obliged without a fuss- We just realized that this whole week, we have neglected our own cats' litter box, yikes, maybe fireguy will come up here and do ours for a week- do you think? Okay, it was Katie, who has remained faithful and loyal to her owners- That about sums up the day, omitting diaper changing, bottles, and baby talk- Frank just said we're supposed to get 70mm of rain tomorrow- a demain!
