L-A-Z-Y DAY

Today I wallowed in absolute sloth like laziness- no childcare, no housecleaning, no laundry, nothing, except I did make spaghetti for supper- Note to Frank- when the grocery list says "box of spaghetti", vermicilli just won't do- much too thin and wormlike- even the name is disgusting-- but I do appreciate your taking on the task of procuring foodstuffs- I really do!!!
What do you think of our home grown terrorists? Nice to know those 400 CSIS agents are earning their pay- Apparently they were scouring the internet and learned of the plot- we better be careful what we write- until Tuffysmom mentioned homicide as a possible solution to snoring, it hadn't occurred to me- but then who would shovel the snow, take out the stinky compost, mow the lawn, or move furniture around at my every whim?? There must be a better solution. Blogging seems to have worked for two nights anyway-
And Patrick Kennedy is clean and rehabilitated- quick trip to the Mayo clinic- too bad those options aren't available to the poor masses- Do you think he would have sought help if he wasn't facing criminal charges? At least he's taking responsibility- more than his dad did, when that girl drowned in Chappa something- Getting ready to go on our final scooping - Hear there are a few furball expulsions - yuck- Traveling Man and Fireguy are probably in the overcast skies about now- Gotta go - may check in later.

I didn't add that Frank made me breakfast in bed- that's beyond slothful!!!
I think I can go beyond slothful...how about supper in bed? It's happened on a few occasions. I read a bit of the blog by the man's whose wife died of cancer..I had to stop, too painful for me to read. I just can't read such painful things without taking the stories inside of me and making them mine.
To go back to the 'snoring' thing. One time we were traveling back from Ontario in a car which was breaking down - transmission trouble - when we stopped at a motel for the night. I was totally stressed out as was Jim. That night he snored heavily all night long. No matter which side he slept on the snoring continued, and I was going out of my mind. That was when it occurred to me that I think 'excessively loud snoring" would be a good defense in a homicide trial. I will never forget that night! Finally at 6 a.m. I woke him up completely and told him to stay up...I had to get some sleep before hitting the road again. I think I aged ten years that night!
Now let's not get into a who's the most slothful competition----About that husband site- I find it inspiring, in spite of his pain and loss, he finds joy in nature, his faith, his family, and honours the memory of his wife- I check in on him everyday and may get the courage to leave him a comment-
Yes teahound, he IS wonderful- the best thing that's happened in my life- and wasn't it you, many years before we met who remarked that we would make a good couple!!
